even though luke is over 14lbs, he still sleeps best when swaddled. it took me a while to find the right blankets, but once I did, it was good night, sleep tight little lucas. So far i love the luna lullaby and these stretch flannel blankets from bru. i recently found some flannel ones i may look into for winter!

it's never too early to wear your babies! maybe i should make Mia a kids sized moby wrap. she would love that!

one big ole baby in the tub! it appears i have outgrown my frog bathtime seat! i really enjoy bathtime - i love the water and hardly ever cry while i am in there. i love kicking my feet and splashing around! I can only imagine how much fun it will be when i can sit up!

Naps

this is how lucas prefers to nap - which is completly different than how he sleeps at night. (he is still swaddled at night). i love the belly poking out!

2 months already??!!

wow - can anyone believe that I, lucas michael, am 2 months old?? My mommy can't believe it - she is always telling me that I am growing way too fast! She also says I am very expressive - i have many many faces and am trying to use my voice for more than crying. i have excellent head control and i am quite nosey, i love to look around and see just what is going on. I look around so much i already have the baby bald spot on the back of my head! I love to look for my big sister amelia. She is always up to something. whether it is doing the shimmy shimmy shake or climbing on the table, she is full of mischeif. I have officially outgrown my 0-3 month clothes and officially wear a 3-6 months. this is about a month ahead of where Amelia was at this age. I took a car ride over to see Dr. Nancy and she was quite impressed with me. I had to receive some of my shots too - i was not happy about that. My big sister Amelia received one and she barely wimpered. she is really brave - i hope to be that brave one day! My official 2 month stats:

The annual trek

Darrin and I have been going to eckert's since we started dating i think. We are not the run to the store and get a pumpkin kind of people. 2 years ago we got to take Mia, and now this year, we were able to take Luke.
