Update from Dr. Nancy

My 2 year visit was wonderful - dr. nancy was impresed with all my new skills - talking, jumping, temper tantrums, etc. She said i was the picture of health. My Hgb was good, my lead level was normal and my height and weight are spot on! I am officially 36 inches and 32 lbs! So from birth i have not quite quadrupled my weight, and have added 15 inches to my frame. not too bad! I wonder how tall i will be as an adult? anyone know how to calculate that??

birthday #2

For my actual birthday, mom and dad took me to the magic house! i had never been to the magic house and it sounded like fun! i had a great time - i was able to fish, climb, grocery shop and play in the water - and that is just the first floor! We then went to McDonald's for lunch..yummy! Here are the pics! Oh, and there are pics with me and my dino too! you didn't think mommy forgot those did you? and a few cake pics - i really enjoyed blowing out the candle! what fun!enjoy!

Super Sibling

Today i went to my super sibling class. I learned all about the new baby that is coming soon! I watched a video on becoming a big sister, how to hold the baby and what things the baby will do once he is here! i also went on a tour of the hospital and got to see where the babies sleep and where mommy will sleep! It was a lot of fun! i was able to color while i was there too. Mommy didn't take any pics of me while i was there (i know! i am surprised too!). i do have one that they took but it is buried in moving boxes! Check back later for the pic - it's of me holding a baby! I think being a big sister will be a lot of fun!

After all the presents were opened and the cake was eaten, most people headed home. Lori stayed to help clean up, as did Tina and her two girls. When we came in from outside, i realized that in my rush, i had forgotten to take the presents her papa and i had bought her out to be opened. So, we had present opening, part 2. We bought her a dress up set, some accessories, fancy nancy shoes and fairy wings. She was in love with all of the dress up stuff - which made me very happy! I wasn't sure if she would like them or not. She put the shoes on immediatly and then piled on the dress up clothes -as did the other girls left - at least lexi and hannah. I'm not sure about Brianna. Here are some pics so you can see just how cute they looked!

It's party time!

Today was Amelia's 2nd birthday party and I think it was a HUGE success. She had a ball playing with all the kids and i think the adults had a good time visiting with each other as well. There was a pool, a water table and a sprinkler to keep the kids cool - i think the pool was the biggest hit! We had a great lunch of sloppy joe's, chips and a fantastic cake for dessert. Here are the pics - and i warn you, there will be a lot! Thanks to everyone who came and for all the wonderful gifts given to Amelia - we appreciate them all!
