every year jasper and oliver come to play and create christmas chaos for the kids. This year, Oliver had to stay behind to help Santa, so he sent olivia, oliver's siter! Jasper and Olivia found plenty to do - and the kids loved every minute!

Have you heard this song? Know who Mitch Miller and the gang are? We had no idea until we heard Amelia sing it last year and then Lucas sang it this year. It is a part of the Christmas Program that the preschool puts on yearly. The kids love it!! Lucas did fairly well for his pageant. It was a plus that he got on the stage and stayed. He was on the opposite side of the stage from us. wouldn't you know, as soon as i walk all the way around the church to snap a few pics of him, he spots me, jumps off the stage, returns to the stage only to walk to the other far side and sit down! ahh! i did get a few pics though! And he looked super handsome on stage!!

I love Christmas lights! I love the way they sparkle and twinkle! We have had a mild winter here so we bundled up and headed to the Zoo to see their Christmas display. it was a great night. The Harris family was able to join us - which is always a good time! I seem to have lost the pictures I took on my camera - here is a cell phone snap. Even with all the grainy-ness, I love it. I mean. who wouldn't want a picture of themselves dancing with their dad at the St Louis Zoo?

This is where Ferdinand has decided he likes to nap. For a cat, he has a odd fascination with water. He will run towards the water when he hears it, he likes to try to drink from the tap and he will stay put in the sink even if Lucas turns the water on. So odd, this kitten of ours! The kids were invited to a birthday bowling party recently. It was so much fun! I can't wait to plan a night out for the family to go bowling! Amelia won her game with 67 points! She even picked up a spare. Go Amelia! And the center pic was not planned at all. Lucas was watching his ball roll down the lan and Amelia walked over and stood by him to watch. Love them!

Christmas kickoff - 2011

I think the Macy's Christmas kickoff is going to officially be our way to start the christmas season. We have went every year - each year we have had a great time. Due to occupy st louis, the celebration was moved to the city garden this year - but it was still a lot of fun, They had carolers, dancers. and of course - santa!

We are local Zoo members, so when they have soecial events we like to take advantage of it and go! Tongiht, we joined Leanne, Olivia and Mason to check out the zoo lights! The kids loved it and the weather was perfect!
