Shopping

i love shopping! Me and mommy go about once a week and it is so much fun! Today we went to babies r us and jc penny! I got a new onsie that says "i make chunky thighs look good!" i can't wait to wear it!

I can smile!!

Yesterday i gave mommy some really good gummy grins! She was so excited and she caught them on camera! She always has the camera handy. Make sure to check out the baby albulm to see them! I show her my smile more and more which makes her and daddy smile too! I'm sure there will be more of them to come!

Big day yesterday...

Yesterday was a big day for me. I was baptised at Christ UCC church in my home town! First we woke up to a big thunder storm and no power. It wasn't on by 8:30am so we went to granny De's to get ready. She helped me get dressed while mommy got ready. She was a big help! Then we all left for church. After church we visted and waited for everyone to arrive. It was a beautiful ceremony and we had a great turn out! After church we had a wonderful luncheon catered by Let's party now. the food was so good - or so mommy said. It was so nice to see everyone and i think almost everyone there got to hold me - which i enjoyed! I did sleep through my whole party! it's exhausting being a baby!

Moving out

Last night i moved out - out of mommy and daddy's room! I moved into my room and slept in my bed! I love my bed! The matress is so comfy and i sleep so good in there! And I love my aquarium and my mobile! I listen to my aquarium every night as i drift off to sleep! I let mommy get some sleep too which i know she enjoyed! Tomorrow we are planning a surprise for gramma vicky - i can't tell what it is though!

another dr's visit

i had to go back to the doctor's today! I was OK with the weighing and the listening. I was not fond of the shot though! that hurt! I only cried a little, and mommy held me and made it better. i hope this doesn't happen every time!

hello again

today is monday - daddy is off to teach again, so it's another day of just me and mommy. Today we went to get my baptism dress - it is beautiful! It is white cotton with some smocking at the top and is really long! I can't wait to try it on and see how it fits!

Off to see Pastor Kim again!

Today we went to church as a family! I was OK this week, i only cried a little. mainly when exeryone sang, i sang too! Yesterday was a big day for me - i stayed at my gramma vicky's for the first time! I mainly slept the whole time. Mommy was surprised that gramma put me down at all! She has a bassinet that i sleep in when i am there. I took my bottle and slept! I'm sure i will be back soon!

One month old!

Today i am one month old! One month ago i was just arriving, mommy and daddy were on their way to the hospital anxious to meet me and become parents! It has been a fun month, i can't wait to see what month 2 holds! I also had my first playdate today! i met thomas who can crawl already - how much fun does that look? And i also met Mia. She is the same age as me. We all had a nice visit and our mommies did too. I hope we get together again soon!

School's in!

Today was daddy's first day of school! Well it was an inservice type day. He is so excited to be a teacher. I'm sure he will teach me lots as i grow!

Picture Day!

Today is picture day! i am going to have pictures taken at picture people. This is my second photo shoot, the first one was way back when i was only a week and a half old! How exciting that mommy and daddy want so many pictures of me to help them remember how small i was. I hope i look cute and they capture my best side! I wonder what i will wear?? Welcome back to st. louis katie!

My godmother katie is back in st. louis and i finally got to meet her! she seemed quite taken with me! She brought me some clothes which I'm sure mommy will put on me as soon as possible. She loved to hold me and take lots of pictures of us together! Look in my photo albulms for pics of us! I'm sure there will be a lot! I can't wait to see Katie again. Mommy says we will go to her house next time!

were going to what mommy?

Today we went on a short trip to Kirkwood. We went to a small store there and mommy told the lady she wanted to have my foot molded. What? My foot molded?? The lady then brought some pink stuff over and put my foot in it!! It was very squishy and cold. It felt funny in between my toes! Then she popped my foot out and we were done! Mommy won't get the finished results for a month but i bet she will love it!

Nana kathy is coming today!

Today my Nana Kathy is coming to see me! hooray! i love all my grandma's and it's always a great day when they come spend time with me! Nana kept me while mommy ran some errands. We had a great day! I can't wait till she comes over again!

back to work!

Today Daddy had to go back to work. I wish he could have stayed home with us longer. He was so excited to see me when he got home! Mommy and i had a busy day, and mommy took some more pics of me in the kitchen on the bean bag. she kept telling me how cute i was! she seemed to be having fun so i cooperated and kept looking cute!

today is D Day for me...

Doctor Day! I went to the doctor's today. I didn't get to see my doctor but i did see the nurse practioner and she was so nice. the nurses were really nice too. they weighed me today and said i was 9lbs 5oz. Wow! i am growing like a weed! And I am almost back up to my birthweight which makes mommy and daddy happy. After the visit to the doctor we went to the cheesecake factory for lunch. Grandma Vicky went with us - we had a great day!

Taking my first road trip!

tonight we went to see about a new car for mom and dad. apparently their cars are too small for me to ride in with them! Hope they find something they like! the car trip was long and i was ready to get home!

Just a lazy Sunday

Today was just another lazy day at home. Its been so hot outside that mom and dad don't want me outside too much! i hope this heat ends soon so we can get out and go shopping!!

more new people for me to meet!

Hello everyone! I met some more people last night! Mommy friend from work came by with her two girls Breanna and Alexis. We had fun hanging out and having lunch. Then mommy's friend Cathie from nursing school came over with dinner and brought her boys - apparently she had TWO babies at once! wow - two babies!! Brock ad TJ! they were lots of fun but seemed to keep Cathie very busy! Tonight me, mom and dad are going to hang out! Sounds like fun to me!

happy wednesday!

yesterday i got to meet mommy's friend from nursing school, dava. she was so nice! she brought mom and dad dinner which they seemed to appreciate. I even met dava's little girl Abby for just a minute. I hope i get to meet Andrew later when i am older. Today Nana and Papa brought dinner over! mom and dad seem to like having food delivered at home!

my due date was today!

Mommy told me today was when i was supposed to arrive but i was growing like a weed so i got to come out last monday! I am still a good sleeper, well - mommy says i am. i let her sleep about 3 1/2 hours between eating at night. Mommy took some more pics of me today, i bet if they turn out good she will put them in a albulm on here! make sure to check back later!
