Milk does a body good!

I love my milk - it is the best! And it is helping me grow big and strong! So strong I was able to grab ahold of my rattle today!! Then I gave it a good shake or 2 before I dropped it! I did this multiple times so everyone could see it! Aunt Katie saw me, mommy saw me and I did it again for Daddy! I also realized I have 2 hands!! i would stare at one and then move to the other! Imagine that - 2 hands!!

what a week!

Monday mommy went to her work place - I was able to stay home with my pappa. We had a good time! Momma was gone for a long time! I sure did miss her! On tuesday morning I went to Linda's for the day. Mommy did call and check on me and talked to me for a moment. Wednesday I went shopping with mommy and then i went to my granny De's. She kept me so mommy and daddy could go out for their anniversary! They told mommy and daddy what a good baby i was!! Who are they kidding?? My parents already knew that!!

Christ UCC

Yesterday, me, mommy and grandma went to church! I love Pastor Kim's sermons - she definatly knows how to keep an audience listening! After church we went and did a little light shopping and then came home and hung out with my poppa! I love being at home with my mom and dad! Mommy keeps telling me she has to go to work today - I'm sure going to miss her! I hope the time flies by and she is home before i know it!

baby mania!

Today me, mommy, my buela, tia laura and becka went to the baby mania sale in st. louis. It was a lot of fun! Everyone was buying me clothes and mommy bought me some new musical toys! After that we went for pizza!! Yummy! I was so glad to see my family!! I hope they come back soon!!

Happy Birthday Loriann!!

Even though mommy forgot momentarily, deep down she knew it was your birthday! She even told lil ole me it was your special day!! Today I went to the park with my cousin Payton. I slept through most of it, but from the pics, they all had a good time! I even had some pics taken with payton! Look in my baby albulm for the pics - they will be there soon!

Today i met Linda...

She is going to be my baby-sitter while mommy and daddy are at work! She has 3 kids of her own and is willing to watch me! I think we will have a lot of fun times! She has a great back yard that i will be able to crawl in eventually! She has some birds that I will probably try to get and a puppy too! What a fun place mommy is taking me while i she and daddy work!

Hello October!

A new month and new things for me to discover! I started coo-ing today! I love to giggle out loud and smile at my mommy and daddy! They are quite funny sometimes. Today me and mommy went to the Galleria and did some light shopping! I got a Christmas outfit and a new black hair bow! I don't think mommy got anything for herself though! We will have to go back and get her something next time!

It finally happened...

I slept through the night. Yes, I, Amelia Rose, did fall asleep at 10pm last night and slept till 5am this morning! I was so well rested and so was my mommy. I probably would have slept like this earlier, but my mommy kept waking me up to eat! Today we went with cousin becca to see her wedding dress! it was beautiful! She looked beautiful in it! Her colors are espresso and pink! I can't wait to find my dress! I also have been practicing sitting up in my bumbo! I still need a little more practice!

Today mommy & I went and made a surprise for aunt laura. It will come in sometime in October - I hope she likes it! We also went to our Thursday playgroup. It was fun as always! I also discovered my hand - check out the pictures of me concentrating on it! I love my hand - especially my thumb!

My first cradle roll party!

Today I went to church with Grandma and Mommy. I enjoy church, it is so peaceful and i like the singing. It helps me to sleep, which is what i like to do at church! After church there was a party for all the babies, infants and toddlers. They had a little lunch for us (well those who could eat) and some cookies. My nana was there too! We even made a family chain to show how everyone is connected and loves me! Next sunday it's church in the park! And we all get to wear jeans too!

off to see Brock and TJ!

Tonight we are going to see Brock and TJ - they are my twin friends. Mommy got to visit with her friend Cathie too! I also got to see Stephen. The twins mommy, stephens mommy and my mommy went to nursing school together. How fun that must have been. Yesterday I got to see Granny De. We took her to the eye doctor in St. Louis. It is always fun seeing granny De!

Month 2 - I am loving life!

Today i am 2 months old! where has time went? mommy keeps telling me she has to go back to work soon - i don't know why she can't stay home with me!!! i'm sure she will be glad to see her friends again! i went to the dr today and had to get 4 shots!! and they hurt too!! being 2 months is hard work!

she's gonna get married!! congrats jenn on your wedding day! it will be my first wedding and i get to meet all mommy's friends! I can hardly wait! I think I will LOVE weddings!

Shopping with Aunt Katie

today we are going to see aunt katie!! it is always fun to go see her! And what is more fun than seeing aunt katie?? shopping with aunt katie!! we only got to go to lunch, but shopping was cut short! Lucky aunt katie is off to vegas - have fun!!

my first playgroup!

Today me and mommy went to a play group today! We had so much fun! There were about 20 babies there. That is a lot of babies! Mommy got a chance to talk to other mommies and I got to practice tummy time and visit with the other babies!

8 weeks? is it possible?

I am 8 weeks old today! We hung out at home today, nothing too exciting! Last night we went to our first LeLeche League meeting. It was a lot of fun and we learned a few things! We also made a few new friends. There we babies and kids of all sizes, from 2 weeks to 2 years. I'm sure mommy will take me back there! And today is victor hugo griffon's fourth dog-birthday! happy birthday hugo!

Rally Sunday...but not for me!

Today Me, mommy and daddy went back to church. It was a special service becaue all the kids who go to sunday school are back for another year. I can't wait till I can go to Sunday school! Last night mommy and I went to Dinner with all her work friends. We had a lot of fun, everyone got a chance to hold me too! What a good time we had!

My first day of school

I went to school for the first time. I went to Daddy's work - CHS! We had such a good time meeting all dad's teacher friends. They all got to hold me and tell me fun things about my dad. He has his own classroom too. I'm sure I will go back there soon!

Busy as a bee

We had a full weekend - We made the antique show on saturday and it was a lot of fun! We saw a lot of nice things there -some were so expensive! On Sunday we slept in and hung out at home. We had some visitors too - Aunt laura and alyssa came by and the gramma vicky came by! I love it when they come by to see me - i get lots of love and hugs from them! On monday we went to cathie's for a fajita party. that was fun too - i met lots of new people and got to see my friends brock and TJ. Mommy said the food was so yummy! As for this week - no big plans, just hanging out with mommy some more!

September is here

It's a new month for me...Septemeber! And my first holiday - Labor day! Tomorrow we (me and mommy) are going to an antique show with Julie and Katie! I have never been to an antique show so it should be fun! I am excited to see julie and katie again too!
