The pumpkin patch

Today mommy took me to the pumpkin patch. It was so much fun! It was way out in Chesterfield Valley and i thought we would never arrive! It was worth it when we did though. All my friends were there - thomas, meghan, earnie, mia, kylie, chloe and all their mommies. there were some daddies too! We went to rombach's http://www.rombachspumpkinfarm.com/flashPage.html pumpkin farm! it was so fun! Here are some pics from the day! I especially liked the tractor pull ride!

Mia Rose at 15 months.

She is sweet, she is funny, she is loving, she freely gives kisses. She is the light of our lives. She is independent and determined, knows what she wants and wanted it 10 minutes ago. She can light up the room with her smile, bring laughter to everyone with her giggle. I think she is simply the best. She runs, trys to jump, stacks blocks, sits in hugo and climbs on everything. Her stats from her 15 month appointment were:
25 lbs and 34 inches! She is so tall! Here are some pics - i know that is what you all stopped by for! the pics!

look at those lashes! and the cheeks too. i could kiss her all day!

here is amelia trying to climb in her chair. her feet are not
touching the floor , and she was giggling the whole time!

Amelia riding her horse!
Just plain cute! That is the sweetest face ever!!

Amelia and her poppa playing RA!

Enjoy!! and there will be more updates soon!

Master of the fork

Miss amelia has finally decided to use utensils instead of her hand when eating. I have been giving her a fork and spoon ocasionally so she could practice using them. I think she has figured out how the fork works. She will use it to stab her food and then it makes it to her mouth - sometimes. not always. And sometimes she tries to use the wrong end. My favorite is when she sucessfully uses the fork to spear food, then takes it off the fork to put it in her mouth! And other times, she is just plain silly!

a sneak peak

here is amelia's halloween costume - She received this awesome cape for her birthday. We started looking for a costume, but we couldn't find one that we liked. So, i put the dress with the cape and viola - little red riding hood was born! I think she will be the sweetest little red riding hood ever!

Is she really one?

Is my beautiful baby girl really one? is it possible? Where did the time go? What I miss most is her being so cuddly. Most days i think she wrote the lyrics to "miss independent!". Regardless, she is such a wonderful girl and I am really loving this age. She can feed herself and entertain herself if I have something to do. here are some pics for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

It's been awhile

It's been awhile since I have had time to update. Amelia is growing by leaps and bounds. She is running, trying to use a spoon, starting to try to mock what we say and getting into everything. Her favorite thing is to shut the door and squeeze herself between the door and the screen. Here is a photo update of what our sweet girl has been up to!

MOPS

Mops is my mom's group. We meet once a month on the 2nd thursday. I enjoy it because i get to visit with so many amazing moms. If i have a concern or question, they can usually help me. They name is slightly mis-leading. It stands for mom'sof preschoolers, but anyone who is pregnant can join. If i had known that I would have joined last year! I hope Amelia enjoys it too. She gets to go to the moppetts class and play with the other kids. Here are some pics from her first class. It was so hard to leave her there. She is in a room full of one year old's so hopefully she enjoys her time away from mommy! here is her first day at Mops!

I knew it would happen, but so soon??

I layed Amelia down for her morning nap as I always do. I went on my merry way while she slept, cleaning, paying bills etc. I heard her wake up at 10:15am. I finished what I was doing, heard her babbling on the monitor. On my way to get her I hear a giant thud followed by a huge scream. yes, that's right, my baby managed to fall out of her crib!! Poor Rosie! She looked so stunned and confused as to why she on the floor and no longer in her crib. She didn't have any bleeding, no bumps, just a small red mark to her right cheek. time to lower the crib again. This is the last step before we have to put her in her toddler bed. Yikes! a toddler bed?? I have a baby not a toddler right?
