Merry Christmas everyone!

Today is my first Christmas and it was a blast! I must have been a very good girl, as Santa brought me a TON of toys! I also got some toys from momma and poppa!

Christmas Eve Is here!!

I am so excited - my first Christmas Eve!! This morning we are going to see Alyssa and Brent, then we are going to Aunt Deb's to see Poppa's family! I can hardly wait! I love seeing my family! Everyone is so impressed by my growing, changing and what i do! And everyone loves to hold me! Here are some pics of me with the christmas tree and from my first christmas eve!

Practice makes perfect

I have been practicing for awhile now so it should be no surprise that I can sit! Well, i can sit unsupported for 15-20 seconds before i topple over. Sitting is so much fun! I get to see so many new things!

Here is the final version of my plate. I can't wait to use it for santa's cookies! It turned out great!

I am wearing my onsie from Keith, Christie and Duncan. They bought it last year when I was still in mommy's belly! And it fits perfect! Thanks for the onsie! I love it!

My first Christmas party!

Tonight i went to my first christmas party with my momma and my red hat aunts! We had a great time - they all love to hold me and tell me how cute i am!! And i got a few gifts too! Aunt ruth got me two teddy bears and aunt sharon had a blanket made for me! thanks so much!!

Five month?? How can I be 5 months

Today is my 5 month birthday! I have been growing and changing so much this last month! I have found my feet, learned to babble, found my toes and have found my mobile friends! Life is good! My mommy told me that I will get to try food this month! I can't wait!! I tried rice cereal today and it was yummy! At first mommy made it very runny, but i didn't like that so she thickened it up. I loved it then! It was so good!! I also went outside to watch poppa play with Hugo dog this morning. It was windy so i had to wear my hat!!

Shop till we drop!

Today me, my mommy and my buela all went shopping! We had a lot of people to buy for! We shopped and then ate and then shopped some more!! We also made a stop in to see the mall santa! We arrived at the perfect time - right after his lunch! So you would think that he would have been in a good mood right? wrong! I think he was slightly upset that my pants were full!! Granted i might have been a little smelly - but it wasn't leaking out! And there were an hours worth of kids behind me! We were not leaving! So if he looks unhappy in his picture, that's the reason why! But we had a great time shopping! Here are some pics that my momma took of me recently!

Happy Birthday Poppa!

Today is my daddy's birthday! He still had to go to work even thought it was his birthday. I don't thik that is very fair! He should get to stay home and celebrate with me and momma! I hope you have a wonderful birthday Poppa!

Today I also discovered my mobile! I almost pulled it over i had such a tight hold on it! I love getting mr. giraffe and mr. elephant!! My spinning friends are so much fun! And they are always there when i wake up to greet me! Mommy and Daddy have to lay me at the other end now!

I have toes!

Today I have discovered that I have toes! Not one or two, but ten! 10 toes! ANd of course, my favorite place to put them is in my mouth! It's a lot of fun to put my toes in my mouth! Sometimes mommy tricks me and puts me in socks or shoes, but I still put them in my mouth!

A visit to father christmas

Tonight I went to see father christmas. At first I didn't know what to think, then it dawned on me how crazy this was! Who is this hairy man in white?? I looked at my mommy, looked at the photographer, then looked back at the man i white and then i screamed. Momma come get me!!! I was not having this!! Get me away from this hairy man in white!! Luckily the photographer lady was quick with the pictures so I have a beautiful first christmas picture! I also have a picture of me with mall santa. I didn't cry then but i think it was because i didn't see who was holding me!

Happy Birthday Momma!

Today is mommy's birthday! I don't know how old she is, but I'm sure she is not a day over 25! Unfortunatly I was sick on mommy's birthday and we had to go see Dr. Nancy again! It seems like it is just a little cold. I hope I feel better soon so we can celebrate your birthday!

I love to babble!

I have discoverd that I can babble. I love to sit in my exasaucer and just babble and talk! I have even discovered that I can get louder. that's right - i have a volume level! And I have discovered that we have a cat and a dog in the house! i love to see what bootylicious and Victor Hugo are doing. I can be quite nosey when i want! I love it when Hugo barks or Booty runs arounf real quick! It makes me giggle! They are in big trouble when I learn to crawl!

December is here!

And along with it came my first snow storm! Once mommy came home, we all bundled up and headed outside! It was a snow ice storm combo! I was very, very cold out there! I did get to wear my soft snow suit though! That crazy Hugo dog must have thought it was spring the way he was running aroound wanting Poppa to play with him!
