where have we been??

Has anyone wondered this? has anyone missed us? I sure hope so! It all started on July 2nd. My friend jenn had previously recommend her friend Heather as a Realtor who could help us with the selling of our house. As you all remember, we did this whole thing before and it was ugly. a year of showing the house and no offers. it stunk!! So we were leary - but Heather was an awesome cheerleader for us. She advised us well -so well that we received 2 full price asking offers in 2 days! wow!! So we had a very small window to find the perfect home for our family! we looked at 6-7 houses, finally settling on a house in Troy, Il. We were slightly disappointed when we found out i had an offer already! good house move fast. We had a back up that was OK in glen carbon, IL, but something about it didn't sit right with me! i couldn't see us living there for some reason. Listening to Heather once more, we went and checked out another house in Troy. It was perfect for us - 4BR, 3 baths, nice flat yard, 2 car garage! what would we do with all this space??!! We are going to find out! finalized all the paperwork and moved in on July 30th, 2008! Just in time for baby neuber version 2.0's arrival. We have had to put in a lot of elbow grease to get it ready - and we had lots of help!! We had Butch helping us at the old house to get it ready to sell - installing outlets and replacing windows, packing helpers nana and buela, moving helpers keith and brent. Nana kathy even drove the 25ft uhaul!! Ok - she had to turn it around in the drive way! Now that we are in we have had even more help - painting helpers!! Aunt Kate came twice - once to help unpack the kitchen and once bearing lunch and to help us scrape border off the walls and primer the walls. I was quite glad to see her - that primer stinks! Tia Laura and Brent came to help paint amelia and the baby's room this past weekend. So it's safe to say for the last month, if it wasn't house related, we didn't do it. But it has all been worth it! the house looks a ton better and Mia loves her new purple room with all her stuff in it! she even told her daddy that "mia new room so pitty and nice" she gets so excited just to go in her room, she shimmy's and shakes and just smiles so big!! It makes the whole whirlwind experience worth it! here are some pics from the original walk-through, so this not our belongings or decorating taste. keep that in mind! lol. i will add the new pics of the kids room soon! and if you are in the area, stop in! we would love to see you and show you the house in person!
