Here is what you see when you enter Ohio - not bad. a nice small blue arch. I have heard that imitiation is the most sincere form of flattery.
Here is what you see when you enter Missouri - I don't think ohio's arch is as quite as nice as our St. Louis arch!
On with the pictures! Here is Shelby waiting on her Sushi on our first night there.
Amelia tries to master chop sticks!
We went to the outlet mall on day 2, and i have no pics from that. Hmm, well we did shop A LOT and got a few great deals - stride rite sandals for $14.99, stride rite tennis shoes for $14.99 and lots of clothes for the baby. Mostly in 6-9 month range. The next day we went to Young's Dairy Farm to visit the goats and eat ice cream :) Yummy! Amelia was most excited to go!
Amelia wanted to ride the barrel car ride - what is this thing called? anyone? She had ridden it at the punkin patch before so i thought we were all set. i was wrong. Here she is getting strapped in. (note:she is about 4 cars from the end)
She took her puppy with her - i advised her against it, but she would not be swayed.
Amelia adjust the wheel...
And they're off! Bye Amelia, have fun!!
Meanwhile, Shelby went to meet the goats!
And the return - apparently Amelia started crying 1/2 way through the ride and the driver had to stop and go get her. Poor Amelia. I felt so bad for her. I think it might have had something to do with the evil kneivel driver. she really had this little ride going!
After her thrill ride, Mia decided to take things down a notch and go see the goats. Much more her speed. She really liked them!
